COLUMBUS, OH – In a new ad, Ohio mother Sarah shares how Jon Husted broke his promise to protect the care her daughter Audrey relies on. One week after looking their family in the eyes and promising that he wouldn’t vote to cut Audrey’s Medicaid coverage, Jon Husted cast the deciding vote to cut health care for nearly half a million Ohioans.
“Ohio families know that Jon Husted isn’t looking out for them. Not only did Husted vote nine times to increase health care premiums, but he also took nearly $700,000 from insurance companies and executives,” said Sherrod Brown. “Ohioans shouldn’t have to choose between paying for health care or groceries, and I’ll fight to ensure all families have access to affordable care.”
