Reflections today, 10/26/2026

Not too long ago, far too many folks wrote off Ohio. They saw that Donald Trump won this state by 11 points and assumed we had no chance. Pundits out of state were quick to say Ohio was a “red” state and stopped there.

But you and I – we knew better. We knew that you should never, ever bet against Ohio.

Now, we have just a week left to decide the outcome of this election. My question to you is: What else are you willing to do in these final 7 days to ensure we win?

WHERE WE ARE

A lot of folks across Ohio are disillusioned and discouraged by a corrupt system that has let them down, and I can’t blame them either. But for the past year, we’ve built a campaign that people believe in. All over, Ohioans have an appetite for change and they’re demanding it.

So many people are getting involved in whatever way they can. It’s really special to see what we’re pulling off – and we’re doing it the right way. My opponent might be resorting to shady tactics or calling on dark money donors to try and bail him out, but when we win this race, it will be because regular people took a stand and joined something they believe in.

WHAT THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS LOOK LIKE

Our work is cut out for us for the final week of this campaign. Ohioans are voting, and we need to reach our strongest supporters and the less engaged folks. We have to make sure every one of them shows up between now and November 3rd.

That takes a lot, but it boils down to these three things:

1. Volunteer infrastructure to knock on doors, send postcards, and make phone calls.

2. Events that inspire people to get involved – and to get their neighbors and communities involved too.

3. Resources to keep our message on TV and online to break through the noise and share our vision for Ohio.

If you’re reading this, you’re already playing a major part in all of those things. This momentum is because of you.

But a lot can change in a week, and we have a lot more to do. Your support will make it all possible.
