"Vote for change. Vote for Sherrod."

Friends,

I just got off the stage here in Cleveland, where Ohioans from every corner of our state showed up to support me and Amy Acton, and hear from President Obama.

The energy in that room is something I’ve experienced on the campaign trail for over a year now:

Ohioans are angry. They know the system is rigged, and they know who rigged it.

And we’re hopeful. Because the freedom we have as Americans includes being able to come together like we did today and demand change. That spirit and determination is alive and well here in Cleveland and across our state.

We’ve got 10 days left to get our message out, one President Obama laid out so well today:

I will always fight for the people of Ohio. This election is a choice – our communities, or their data centers. Our families here, or the war over there. Working people, or the 1%, crypto billionaires, big pharma, and Wall Street.

Jon Husted says working people in Ohio don’t understand the real world. That our “work ethic is broken.”

But it’s not working people who decided insurance companies should be allowed to raise premiums every year with no recourse. It’s not the people of Ohio who decided CEOs should make $17 million a year, while the average family struggles on one or two or more incomes. And it’s not the people of Ohio who voted 14 times for an unnecessary and immoral war of choice that’s allowed Trump to hold everyone hostage with tariffs and gas prices.

That was my opponent. Republicans know they’ve got a losing message, so they’ve spent more than $317 million here attacking me with their cheap lies.

I challenge him to tell a teacher here at Shaw High School who dips into her own pocket to pay for school supplies that her “work ethic is broken.”

Go say that to the custodian cleaning the hallways long after everyone leaves.

Talk to a cafeteria worker who serves hundreds of kids a day – tell her her “work ethic is broken.”

He won’t stand up to Vivek Ramaswamy, he won’t stand up to Trump, and he won’t stand by the people of Ohio.

Here’s my promise to you. I will be spending every second I have over the next 10 days talking to voters and making sure we get to tell our story to whoever is still listening.

I need your help, and we’re running out of time.
